Youth Prophetics

Youth Prophetics

Purpose (in one line):

To cultivate young artists who hear God, create with excellence, and serve their cities with humility and integrity.

Who it’s for

  • Jr. Cohort (ages 10–13) and Sr. Cohort (ages 14–17)

  • Beginners and emerging artists; no audition required for entry-level tracks

What we teach (creative tracks)

  • Music & Prophetic Worship (voice, instruments, songwriting)

  • Dance & Movement

  • Spoken Word & Theater

  • Visual Arts & Design (drawing, painting, digital, photography)

  • Film & Media (story, camera, editing)

  • Tech & Production (sound, lighting, livestream)

Each track blends craft + character + discernment: hearing God, Scripture foundations, creative discipline, teamwork, and service.

How it runs (rhythm)

  • 6-week sessions, 2 days/week (live online or in-person hub)

  • Monthly Saturday Intensives (masterclasses & labs)

  • Showcases: mid-session studio night + end-of-session public showcase

  • Summer 2027: week-long Creative Camp + City Prayer & Arts Walk

Mentorship & formation

  • Trained, background-checked mentors (two-adult policy; no one-on-one closed-door meetings)

  • Age-appropriate reflection journals (our youth version of AARs) to steward ideas, Scripture, and feedback

  • Gentle guardrails: no directional words to peers; kindness, consent, and confidentiality honored

What parents can expect

  • Safety first: vetted staff, clear codes of conduct, media/photography consent, and incident reporting path

  • Transparent communication: parent portal with schedules, assignments, and monthly progress notes

  • Character + craft growth: we evaluate listening, stewardship, collaboration, excellence, and service, not only talent

  • Access options: hybrid delivery (online + local hubs) with time-zone–friendly schedules

Outcomes by year’s end

  • A personal creative portfolio (audio/art reel, short film, spoken word set, or design gallery)

  • Practical ministry experience (serving at showcases, community events, or church partnerships)

  • Growth badges: Listener • Steward • Collaborator • Artisan • Messenger

  • Pathways into PIT’s teen leadership labs and, at 18+, the adult prophetic cohorts

Getting ready (2027)

  • Simple interest form + parent consent + code of conduct

  • Optional church/mentor reference

  • Scholarships and need-based assistance available

Bottom line: Youth will grow as artists and disciples—learning to hear God, create with excellence, serve with humility, and carry prophetic creativity into school, church, and city life.
